It's been a while since our last update,so we have a lot to tell. Liam's appointment at Dupont on the 14th went really well. His saturation levels were great, there was no fluid around the heart, the functionality was good, he gained weight (now 6 lbs 9.4 oz- with clean diaper and tee shirt), making Mom and Dad the happiest parents ever. Our next appointment isn't until December 19th. We're still looking at surgery around 4-6 months, the later the better. So our mission is to fatten this baby up!
Liam was still throwing up some, but I think we've finally figured out how to feed him so that he doesn't. It's been a couple of days since the last time he did so at least it's not a daily occurence anymore. Let's just say we burp this boy until cows come home.
He went to the pediatrician on Wednesday, the 19th (We switched pediatricians and we're really happy with the new group). Dr. Crowder was much more attentive to Liam's needs and put Mom at ease. He got his first shot and didn't scream too much (he figured that was nothing compared to what he's used to). He was up to 6 lbs. 10 oz (completely naked) and 20 inches long. The doctor wanted to see him again next week (Nov. 25th) just to make sure he's doing good and then again for his 2 month appointment (Dec 17th) for some more shots.
Mom and Dad are enjoying him more and more each day, he's definitely developing a personality. He's found his hands and is perfecting his KungFu moves, watch out Jackie Chan.
We'll keep updating! Happy and Healthy in Mt. A,
Heather, Chris, Liam and Petee
